I’ll be honest. I’m really not a fan of French dressing, especially in a world where honey mustard exists. Still, my mom had this recipe card in her collection, and it’s in the same handwriting as her Aunt Jean, so I feel compelled to save it.

If you like old-school French dressing, this is for you.

1 cup oil
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup catsup (ketchup)
1/4 cup vinegar (probably white)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
pinch of cloves (I’m guessing ground spice, not garlic)
1 medium-sized onion, grated

Mix everything in a blender until thick.
